The secondary School to which our pupils normally transfer is Knox Academy, Pencaitland Road, Haddington
The guidance teacher at Knox who looks after S1, Jane Eason, is in regular contact with the school and arranges an annual visit by guidance staff to our P7. The pupils are invited down to Knox for two days in the summer term and they are arranged in their new classes. During their last year, our P7 also enjoy visits to their class from ex-Yester pupils now in S5.
Parents are informed of transfer arrangements by December of the pupil’s last year in Primary School.
