The Centre is looking for young artists to come up with a new design for their popular line in tea towels, using the marine life, seabirds and the seaside as inspiration. We are looking for a colourful A4 picture from P1- P7 pupils from across East Lothian.

Judging the Centre’s first ever tea towel design competition will be local artist Jane Alexander who has an eye for young artistic talent.

The winning design will be made into a tea towel which will go on sale in the gift shop: the winner will also receive a bag of goodies from the shop, as will the two runners up.

The closing date for entries is 28 October – schools can have multiple entries, but only one per child. There is no cost for entering. For full terms and conditions, please visit the education section at http://www.seabird.org/education.asp
