Scotherbs Secondary School Herb Project 2011

Suppled by Scot-herbs, this unique project, suitable for S1 – S6 studying Home Economics/Food and Nutrition and Hospitality, will introduce secondary school pupils to the fascinating world of culinary herbs. The project has been developed inline with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and adheres to Scottish ‘Health Promoting Schools’ guidelines.  From sowing the seeds to cooking with these culinary delights, the diverse nature of the topic allows a range of activities which can be selected by teachers for their suitability to age group or to fit in with current class projects.

The project is available to schools from the end of April 2011, interest should be registered by Friday 29th April and a limited number of packs will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.  There is NO COST to the schools for the pack and it comes with a FREE Fresh Herb Voucher per pack

To register interest, download the attached registration document and email it to marketing@scotherbs.co.uk or call Aisling Thornton on 01382 360642.
