This week we have been learning about shapes. We have been making 2D and 3D shapes out of plasticine and straws. We also used the computers to make pictures using 2D shapes. We have been working in pairs to describe 3D shapes using the words faces, vertices and edges. We have been making 3D shapes using nets. We made cylinders, cones, cuboids, cubes, pyramids and spheres. We really enjoyed learning about shapes.
