Today at school we thought it would be an ordinary gym lesson, playing golf but we were wrong! Minutes after we had gone outside a ferret appeared. A cat was stalking it. Miss Jones, our P.E. teacher took us inside because she did not want to see the ferret end up dead. Mrs Kavanagh came out wearing a pair of gloves and heavy boots. She tried to catch it but it ran into the nursery. She eventually managed to catch it and put it in a box with cardboard over the top. She had to sellotape the top of the box so that it couldn’t escape. The R.S.P.C.A. have been called and are coming to pick the ferret up. We have named him Perry. We hope that Perry enjoyed his golf lesson and that the cat will return next week to practise his putting skills!
That is so cool that there was a ferret in gym.I feel sorry about it getting chased by a cat & it getting put in a box,at least it’s safe.
