At the rotary quiz there were lots of groups and we had to answer on a wide variety of subjects like health and wellbeing, technology.  There were a lot of schools like: Innerwick, Dunbar, Belhaven and    East Linton.  There were 10 rounds and we had to figure out the answer before 2 minutes, then someone would ring a bell to stop and give the sheet to the Rotarians and then they would mark your answer and tell you if you had all correct. In the end West Barns had won! Alicia

 We had to work as a team and worked together, amazingly there was a question all of the children didn’t know but I knew it outstandingly. It was: in which soap opera is the Bronton family in? The answer was Emmerdale It was shocking. We got the cup, had some photos and then we went home. It was a good laugh. Duncan

 At the rotary quiz there were 8 teams: Dunbar 1, Dunbar 2, Belhaven hill 1, Belhaven hill 2, East Linton 1, East Linton 2, West Barns and Innerwick. Every team had 4 team members. The quiz was made up of 8 rounds and every round was made up of 4 questions. Every round was about a different topic. The topics were: Language and literacy, Maths and numeracy, Health and wellbeing, Expressive arts, science, technology, R.M.E and social studies, and pot luck. For every question you get right you got 2 points. The quizmaster would read the questions out for one round, then every team was handed a sheet of paper on which were all the questions. We had 2 minutes to answer all the questions. At the end of the 2 minutes the sheets were collected in as the quiz master read out the answers. At the end of every second round each teams total were read out. After the 8^th round, surprisingly, West Barns were in the lead so we got presented with a trophy that the school get to keep. WE WON!
