P5 whizz kids perimeter and area!!

P5 have been learning about perimeter and area .Perimeter is the path around a shape and area is the path inside the shape.We also did some measurement in the big playground with metre sticks and trundel wheels.Trundel wheels are a type of wheel atached to stick which clicks when you have spun it for one metre.In perimeter we have been doing work in class maths working it out by multiplying the numbers.In area working we have been counting the centimetre squares to work it out.In class maths we learn new things evrey day and most of us think some of it is fun.So in class you should enjoy it too.
