We are all very happy to be back to school after the Christmas holidays. Santa was very good to us and we all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year and are ready to work hard this year.
On Tuesday we wrote Thank you letters to some of the people who gave us some brilliant presents. We also set a goal for the day and everyone achieved their goal. Some of us found it tricky to think of a goal that we could achieve in one day.
We have continued our learning about the stars and constellations. Some of us have started to draw our own constellations. All the constellations have names that describe the way they look. Some of the stars we learnt about are Gemini, The Great Hunter, The Pole Star and the Dog Star.
In reading we were learning to decide whether a statement was True, False or we Couldn’t tell from the information given.
We have had lots of fun playing maths games to develop the skills that we have been learning in maths.
All the staff in P2/3 have been delighted with how hard working and well behaved the children have been this week.
Bye for now.
