Our Last Day at Camp

After another good nights sleep we woke up this morning to a blanket of snow on the ground!  Then it just kept on snowing all morning!  That didn’t deter us though and after a hearty breakfast we were ready for our last morning at camp.

After breakfast we embarked on our Forest Walk.  We passed by the camp fire area and built some mini snowmen.  After hiking up some steep hills and then gingerly walking back down we found a nice shelter with a view of the snow covered mountains so we sat down and had a well deserved rest to watch the snow fall!

Time for snack and then we had to pack everything up and make sure we were ready for the taxi after lunch.  Mums and dads will be pleased to know that because our weather was so perfect there’s not a muddy article in sight!

We’ve had a wonderful camp and so much fun!  Everyone had a great time!

Here are photos from this morning.

Second Day at Camp

After a great nights sleep we’ve had a fantastic second day at camp!

This morning we completed two activities, the Jacob’s Ladder and the Challenge Course.  The Jacob’s Ladder was very scary but we managed to get our harnesses on and Daniel was especially brilliant and very brave!  The Challenge Course was like a giant assault course which we were all especially good at!  Amina loved the rope swing.  Our friends in Sanderson’s Wynd helped us to swing on the rope swing, balance on the beam and to go through the ‘car wash’!

After a tasty lunch we walked down into the village of Dalguise and did something which will be a surprise for mums and dads, look out for the post!  Our last activity today was the Sequoia Scramble.  We put on our harnesses again and climbed up a big log ladder.  Stephen really enjoyed swinging on his line back down to the ground!

Tomorrow morning we will take part in a Forest Trail.  We are surrounded by forest and the views are spectacular here.

Here are todays photos!  Click the pictures to make them full size.  See you all tomorrow after school!

We’ve Arrived at Camp!!

We have all arrived at Dalguise!  We really enjoyed the bus journey, especially crossing the Forth road bridge!

We were given the grand tour when we arrived at 3pm.  We then played some games and sang lots of songs.

We had a lovely dinner and then had some time to unpack before it was all back to the big hall for more fun and games!

Have a look at the photos below to see what we have done on our first day of camp!

We will be posting news and the all-important photos on the website while we are away to keep you up-to-date with our adventures!
