New Life in the Nursery

we welcomed 9 healthy chicks into the world.

The children were very excited about it and actually witnessed a hatching one morning too. They have now left the nursery and living a happy life in Mrs. Pearce’s garden.

We had to remember our gentle hand when handling the chicks as not to frighten them. They were very small and fluffy!!  All the children had the chance to hold a chick if they wanted to.

Red Nose Day 2013

We dressed “Posh” for Red Nose Day in the nursery. The girls were pretty

in their dresses and the boys were so smart in their shirts and ties.

We collected £68.00 …..so thank you for your kind donations. Every little helps.

We ate “red nose” tomatoes and red jammy toast for snack and played party games in the hall.

Book Week 2013

We have been busy in World Book Week. Janette the Librarian came to read us some Traditional stories in the school library. We listened very well.

The Book Fair was very popular and many books were purchased. Happy reading everyone. Thank you for supporting us.

We had a great response for the Literacy Quiz.

Jake Murray from the Red Group won the Quiz in the morning and Ewan Hotchkiss from the Red Group won the Quiz in the Afternoon . Well Done to both boys.
