Primary 2/3 and Primary 3 have been learning about the Day for Change 2012.  This year the focus is raising money to provide equipment for school children in Uganda.  We asked children in the school to come dressed in their sports clothes for a day and bring £1.  Both classes took part in Whacky Races one afternoon and asked their friends and families to sponsor them.  We also had a competition in the school for the adults to take part in. 

The total money raised was £575.  We were amazed and delighted because we knew all the things that could be provided for the Ugandan children.  Thank you to everyone who helped us to reach this fantastic total.
