On Wednesday 23rd March, Primary 1 went to Newhailes. We met Hannah, the ranger and enjoyed taking part in a Spring workshop. The best bit was when we got to build birds’ nests. We also went on a scavenger hunt and found lots of interesting things, including wild garlic! We listened for sounds and heard some beautiful birds singing, looked for the colours of the rainbow in the forest and used our sense of touch to find prickly, smooth and wet things. We had lots of fun!
