Today children from Primary 4, Primary 5, Primary 6 and Primary 7 headed out to the 3G pitches for some mini golf. We all had great fun using the golf equipment to get the ball to the hole and also using the targets to earn points. Well done to everyone who took part!

In Primary 5 this week we have been taking part in a lot of different activities to keep us fit and active. We have tried new things and I have been impressed at how enthusiastic everyone has been to take part. We have been earning house points as well for our effort and behaviour.
We have also been looking into careers. We spent time using the website www.planitplus.net to find out more about the different jobs we would like to have when we are older and what is required for us to be able to take up these jobs. I was impressed that so many people already have a good idea about what they want to be when they are older. It looks like we have the next generation of vets, doctors, footballers, authors and comedians in our class.
He told us about all of the new and exciting clubs and sports that are going to be open to the children of St Martin’s Primary this term.
I have attached the letter to this post if you have not receievd the paper copy. Please remeber the letter should be returned to the address on the cover letter and NOT to the school office.
All places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. BOOK NOW to avoid disappointment.
Remember what Adam said, every child should be doing 60 minutes of physical exercise a day.
Enjoy your new sporting events! We look forward to hearing all about your time spent with Active Schools.
