In P5 we have been learning about Fairtrade. We were very lucky to have Mrs Brown visit us to talk about Fairtrade, social justice and the work that goes on in our Parish. Inspired by this, we have created Fairtrade boards for the main entrance to the school. We created posters and pieces of work that illustrate and advertise Fairtrade Fortnight. Come in and have a look OR visit the Tuck Shop where fantastic Fairtrade products are available to buy! Go on take a step towards Fairtrade in 2013!

P5 Think it’s Great to Be Back!
Great to be able to post again- it’s been a while! So we thought we would share some pictures of what we have been up to!
We would also like to tell you about our current ‘CREATE-A-PLATE’ enterprising project..
We have been using ceramic paints and pens to create unique, decorated plates. These will be available to buy at the CHRISTMAS BAZAAR. In addition, we would love YOU to come along and CREATE-A-PLATE at the BAZAAR! Our team of ceramic artists will help you to create your very own plate. Creativity and imagination is all you need! A Super Start to Our P5 Journey
Here we are bursting with enthusiasm at the end of our first fantastic week in P5!
Today we created our Class Charter of Rules, Rights and Responsibilities- which will be a key feature of how we promote positive behaviour in P5.
Together, we have created this Yellow Brick Road display. We aim to stay on yellow, on the right track to excellence and success. You will see positive bricks and stepping stones along the road… words we added, such as ‘respect’, ‘effort’, ‘fun’, ‘care’ and ‘love’. We also created a pot of gold of rewards and would like to make an Emerald City of Excellence! You may have some good ideas we can add to our theme.
So come on, ‘follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road, follow, follow, follow, follow…..:)
You know the rest!
