Just back form visiting Primary one’s toy museum. Its looks amazing and had two brilliant tour guides as well.

Happy Christmas from The Place2be
As the term draws to a close and the sound of Santa’s sleigh can be heard in the distance The Place2be in St Gabriel’s is also getting ready for Christmas. It has been a fantastic first term, with The Place2talk established within the school, and the addition of our two new counsellors Fern and Anna. I would like to say thank you to all the staff, parents and children for making me feel very welcome and I am looking forward to coming back in the new year to continue the work within the school. It has been action packed and I have just sat through the SG Factor and would like to congratulate everyone involved, great work and it made me smile ear to ear.

The Place2talk
As The Place2be enters into its second half of the term in St Gabriel’s, The Place 2Talk is now up and running. The Place2talk is open to all children within the school at lunch times, on a Wednesday and Thursday.The Place2Talk – children refer themselves to our lunchtime sessions. They can come alone, or with their friends (last year 64% of the school population used The Place2Talk)
If you would like to know more about The Place2be or about Laura the School Project Manger at St Gabriel’s please do not hesitate to pop in and have a chat. Laura is based across from the nursery and is in on a Wednesday and Thursday.

The letters about the Place 2Talk are out, and the Place 2Talk will be launched after the October break. If you wish to know more please pop in and see me, you can find my office opposite the nursery and I am in on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Alternatively I will be at the curriculum for excellence night on the 23rd September to meet and talk to parents about the The Place 2be.

The Place2be is in St Gabriel’s.!!!!! My name is Laura and I am the School Project Manger based in St Gabriel’s, on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
I am excited to be here!!
The Place2Be is an innovative, growing charity that supports children’s emotional development by offering them a space where they can express their feelings through talking, creative work and play. The Place2Be delivers a range of services directly to children, parents and staff in schools .

Soon there will be letters coming out to parents explaining more about The Place2be and some information on the The Place2Talk which will be launched after the October break.
