We got to make churches and colour them in. We got to make books and draw pictures in them. Miss Jones was not here so Mrs Dillon played games with us.

In the playground we have been playing a tiger game. In the tiger game Lucy was a baby tiger. Most of the boys were playing rounders.

“Stentons got talent was absoulutley fantastic and I was bursting with pride seeing the children from our school sharing their talents with the community. Look out Xfactor!!!”                                                                 From Miss Barclay

The prizes were either chocolate buttons easter eggs or the Cadbury crème eggs easter eggs donated by the Stenton Parent Group.   It was a fab success. Everyone hopes it won’t be the last.

The event raised £80 – £43 goes to school funds and will be put towards the whole school trip planned for the summer term and £37 donated to Plan International to fund the purchase of a goat and an identity for a child.

Stenton Primary was transformed on Friday 7th March with a huge variety of book characters – can you spot who is who?

Caroline and Olivia had their illustrations printed in the World Boom Day Short Stories Book Competition 2007-08 called ‘Why were her toes like that….?’
Published illustrators at 10 years old – a real achievement.  They are also the only Scottish winners – Congratulations!
