This week we have been learning all about our digestive system as part of our ‘Body’ project. We learned about how food moves along the oesophagus using a balloon and our tummies! We also played a game where we were stomach enzymes breaking down our food!
We have been enjoying some Halloween themed activities: our scary stories were excellent and we enjoyed sharing them with the class using scary voices and body language! On Friday we worked in teams to read Halloween clues and then we were very active trying to find the answers around the playground.
Next week we are going to find out more about our brain and all the important jobs that it does. We will be thinking about keeping safe now the nights are getting darker and Bonfire Night is around the corner.
