SCHOOL IS OPEN AS NORMAL ON FRIDAY 22 MARCH

You may have heard, due to the Haddington Infant School disco being cancelled this evening, that there has been a flood in school. However, things have been resolved and school will be open as normal tomorrow, Friday 22 March.

We are continuing to have problems with our telephones and appreciate that parents are unable to contact us at times. This is an on-going problem and we are working to resolve it.

Snow forecast today, Monday 21st January 2013. The school is open as normal and we are hoping for a disruption free day however please keep up to date with weather news on local radio and school website. Please let us know if you have recently changed your contact details. Should we have to close the school we will contact parents and carers via telephone. We will keep your children safe in school until they are collected. Remember we cannot let children be collected by other parents/carers unless we have verbal or written permission.

Nursery Christmas Sale!

We would like to say a huge thank You to all those who came along to support our recent nursery fundraising sale. We raised a massive £350 which we are looking forward to spending on some outdoor equipment for our new garden. An extra big thank you to all those parents and grandparents who contributed baking, sewing or their time to help us on the day.

Thanks for everyone who came to our meeting this evening on such a rainy night. It was a great turnout. Next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 23rd January 2013.

End of term visit from Author, Jan Fearnley

Primary 1/2 had a lovely end of term visit from author and illustrator, Jan Fearnley. She read us two of her stories and drew a picture of Harry the mouse from 'Harry and the Jaggedy Daggers'. We really enjoyed the stories and we drew our own pictures from the story and then made them into a crown. Jan said that we were great illustrators and that she had really enjoyed visiting our class!
