As part of our on going Eco Development, we have arranged a Rag Bag collection at school on Thursday 9 February 2012.
If you have any unwanted textiles including clothing, paired shoes, bags, hats, towels, soft toys, curtains and linens. in any condition, please put them into bags and send into school during the week beginning 6 February.
We are also collecting for the Book Reuse Scheme so would welcome any unwanted textbooks, general literature and novels. Please do not send in exercise books, directories, journals, magazines or newspapers. Please put books into a separate bag to the textiles.
Thank you for your co-operation.
The Eco Goup Needs You!
The school Eco group, (known as the Triple R Team – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle), are a group of children from Primaries 1-7 who meet every second Thursday during school, to work on issues relating to Eco matters.
We would like to extend an invitation to any parents who feel they could come along and help in any way, to join the next meeting on Thursday, 24th November, from 1.00 – 2:15 pm.
Together we can make a difference!
Charlie Smith in Primary 5 has designed our logo which he then drew on the computer.
