P1I had fun this afternoon and enjoyed being in the wood in the rainy weather. They noticed that it looked, sounded and smelt different from our previous visits. They had fun playing Foxes and Rabbits and hide and seek, we encouraged them to try and find some new places to hide and practice sitting really quietly. They then used clay to have a go at making some mini beasts, real or imaginary. They used sticks, leaves and pine needles stuck into the clay and were able to talk to the class about the creatures they had created. Next week is our final visit of the year but we shall look forward to visiting again as P2′s.
