The Keeper of Keys is Revealed!

You gather together in this great hall,

As Keeper of Keys, I greet you all.

You reached the end of adventure trail,

You’ve met your tasks. You did not fail.

As Keeper of Keys, I’m proud of you!

You built your castles and more, it’s true.

Each one is different with its own look,

Your learning came from more than a book.

You pulled together and worked as a team

To create a wonderful fantasy theme.

You solved the puzzles and broke the spell

And restored the keys and made things well.

Ideas, suggestions and creative thought

Young minds like yours can achieve a lot.

And all along, I think you knew

The magic that happened was within you!

Final Challenge: Make a Giant Kilt!

The Keeper of Keys set P4T a final challenge for the Giant:

……But what he wants

And what he’ll need

Is something to wear

On Valentine’s night

Measure the cloth

Get the size right.

Make him an outfit

To suit the occasion

The girl he likes

Will need persuasion

He must look handsome

Not Frankenstein!

For his sweetheart

His valentine!

They set to work working out the proportions of the Giant’s body,  measuring the fabric, designing a fancy kilt and sewing it all together! Good team work P4T! The result was fantastic!

Knights Pledge

Over the past few days Primary 7 have been training to become Knights we have worked very hard in tasks to become a full knight and hopefully tomorrow we will be knighted but sadly not by Princess Anne!!

P7′s armoury

Over the past week  Primary 7 have been working on the school’s castle project. We have had fun turning our classroom into a castle armoury. We have made lots of weapons using recycled materials. IT WAS A LOT OF FUN !

P4T on a Treasure Hunt!

The giant was here

He had some fun

He let out a cheer

Whenever he won!

He’s left a card

For you to play

But it will be hard

The rest are away!

They’re hidden around

Look up and down

On castle ground

And Fairyland Town.

Find every King

Hunt for the Aces

You’ll need to bring

All Queen faces.

Return each Jack

And numbers too

Collect the pack

And check them through.

The Joker pair

Completes the set

These cards you’ll share

If task is met!

Happy Hunting!

The Giant’s Castle is Built!

To P4T

It’s been quite a while

Since I last was in touch

I left you a task

And you have done much!

You accepted my challenge

And really took charge

You created a castle

With everything large!

The Giant is happy

You made him a home

You opened his kingdom

He’s now off to roam

You may never see him

He only comes out

When you’re in your beds

And no-one’s about

This giant is crafty

He never is seen

But only leaves clues

To show that he’s been!

P4 Learn to Play Badminton

On Wednesday 2nd February , Mrs Black visited Sanderson’s Wynd to teach P4 how to play Badminton. Within an hour everybody was managing to keep the shuttlecock in the air and many children kept up longer badminton rallies with a partner. These impressive and quickly learned skills will be tried out at a cluster Badminton Festival on 3rd March at the Loch Centre.
