It’s important to look after ourselves and our environment.

Easter Homework Part 2

Part of the S1 project is going to be to produce a museum on one of the topics that you will be covering in the first few weeks after Easter. A museum doesn’t have to be a place full of old pictures and statues, it is a collection of objects that are of interest to the person who made it. It could be a collection of paintings by Van Gogh or a display of the concert tickets and band memorabilia that you have collected.

Before you can make your own museum, your task is to do some research into what a museum is. Over the holiday, we would like you to visit a museum to see what is on display and how the items are displayed. The links on the right hand side of the page will give you information about the galleries we recommend you visit. Once you’ve visited a museum, write a comment on the page to give others your opinion. For example:

What did you like?
What didn’t you like?
If you could take one piece from the museum to display in your house, what would it be?

These include a variety of scenarios from ‘Cycling safety’ to ‘Gangs,guns and knives’. You have to make decisions about what to do in a variety of different situations.
