Ross High School has a school uniform which was drawn up in consultation with parents some year ago. The dress code is very important to our work ethos, our inclusive beliefs and our security.
Junior school pupils have a choice of Ross High sweatshirts or poloshirt or Ross High junior school tie and white shirt.
The Senior School (S5 and 6) are expected to wear a white shirt and tie. A black jumper or blazer may be worn over this.
All skirts and trousers should be plain black. Denim or “cargo” trousers should not be worn. Team or national colours and tracksuits are not allowed to be worn to school.
The wearing of heavy and large pieces of jewellery should not be worn at school as they can cause a safety hazard.

Can anyone advise me if ive left it too late to order Ross High sweatshirts? I’ve only realised i cant buy these from any shops.

Plain black shoes or trainers are preferred.
School sweatshirts can be bought for existing pupils by contacting the school office for an order form. Uniform is phasing to shirt and tie and all S1 in Aug 2012 will be expected to wear this. Other year groups can continue to wear any sweatshirts/poloshirts that they already have as the new uniform is gradually phases in.
I have been trying to get both my kids to bring a school uniform home for the last 3 weeks would it be possible for one to be e-mailed to me thanks
I have had nothing about the school uniform order sheet and talk is rife that it is changing and the pupils are vague on this! My child is going into S3 so what’s what with the uniform? How can you expect parent support on issues if the parents dont know what is going on in the first place?

I’m Verena and I’m going to join your school. My only question is about the uniform. As I can read I have to wear a white shirt and a black skirt/trouser. Do I need a special kind of material? And do I need a Blazer or is a sweat jacket also ok?

hi there my daughter is worried about the bankton house being disbanded and hasn’t heard which house she is going to be in and hasn’t recieved her timetable yet she was in 2b1. She is also concerned that she won’t be able to get a school tie in time to go back for the first day as the uniform shop is only open bewteen the 16-18 august .can you help
