Ecogroup helping the local birds

Althelstaneford Primary Ecogroup got stuck in to helping the birds out in getting ready for the springtime. They got their hands really sticky and smelly making pinecone feeders with birdseed and lard! Those that didn’t want to get too mucky, helped the birds out with their search for nesting material by gathering fluff and wool together and tying the ball up in the trees around the school wildlife garden.
