During our session last week we unfortunately could not go to the woods due to safety issues presented by the extremely high winds. So we improvised and had ‘Forest Schools’ indoors for the first time. We had three stations: quesadilla -making (yum!), knot-tying using small branches and cord, and model shelter building. It wasn’t in the forest, but it was a fun afternoon of learning skills that we can apply in the forest next week.
