i would like to know why is it that if you forget your gym shorts you are put on a tracking sheet if you bully another child in the school they are also put on a tracking sheet, this i dont understand ur child is treated the same as a bully for something way completely different.
3day
bands should just be a detioan no keeping in for days
Why are playground bans on for three days that is a lot for doing something wrong or bad.It should be two days because the children who get them are very upset that they can’t go outside for 3 hours 15 minutes of school days to see there friends.I just felt it was a bit long. Thank You James Gray
Hello Mr Rowan,
I have been helping run East Lothian’s “Edubuzz.org” educational web publishing system for years now, have seen hundreds of comments, but will never forget this one. It is difficult for me to convey how exciting it can be for children to receive comments from around the world (I notice that you’re in New Zealand), and it is wonderful when occasionally the comments help them learn about the history of their school or community.
I have passed on this comment to staff at Lee’s new school, Preston Lodge High School to try to make sure that he doesn’t miss it.
Best wishes, and thank you for taking the time to tell us about your time at Prestonpans Primary.
Hello Lee My name is Charles Rowan from Prestonpans. I was a pupil of Prestonpans primary school 1938 -1945 and I wish you every success for your future. Primary school is where the seeds of success are sown. May they flourish and grow with every year. Success only comes with hard work, determination and a will to win which is hereditary within every new born Scottish heart. I still remember with fondness my teachers. Headmaster was Mister Robertson. Class teachers were; Miss Durham, Miss Craig, Miss Wishart, Miss Dobson, miss Stewart. Miss Boyd was the music teacher who taught the choir and took Prestonpans Primary School to sing in the Usher Hall. I didn’t sing there but my sister did and the choir was highly respected throughout East Lothian and West Lothian. May the force be with you… Best regards.. Charles Colquhoun Rowan Sept. 3 2009
