As part of their Money topic in Maths, P4 held a cake cafe today and invited along their parents and relatives to join them for a cup of tea or coffee and a cake. The children baked cakes at home with their parents and used them to set up a cafe, so they could practise adding amounts and giving change.
Thank you to all of the parents who came along, helped out or were able to bake cakes for the occasion. Every contribution went towards making the event a huge success which both children and parents enjoyed enormously.
The total raised today was £70 and the money will be used to benefit the school and its pupils.
