Yesterday was World Book Day and our school celebrated it by having read-athon.
We all took part in a whole school read-athon which meant that each class spent half an hour reading so that we spent the whole day reading continuously from 9am ’til 3.30pm. Some classes read their class novel together whilst others used the time to read their Accelerated Reader books.
