Look how well P1s did on their first day at school dinnners. They choose their meal in the classroom so came to the dinner hall with Fish and Chips or Vegetable Curry or Baked Potato on a sticker on their uniform which helped all 86 of them get served easily. They managed trays, ate well alongside their new friends and even managed to clear their trays away pretty well. Well done P1s. You’re wee stars.
What a super start our P1 children made to school today, supported so well by families and staff. Thank you all. It was just lovely.
It started off with us waiting for you…
… while you were waiting for us…

Getting Ready for P1 – Summer Transition Programme on PhotoPeach
The programme was funded by Prestonpans Early Years Link Up Group of Support from the Start. A huge thanks to all the staff who gave up their holidays to ensure there’s support for starting school for some of Prestonpans’ P1s.
The last group came out on Wednesday afternoon to meet Miss Gordon, their teacher. They brought their own packed lunch then enjoyed our special Ratho cream and jam scones later in the afternoon.
