Dress Code

You can download Dress Code details on the “School Info” page.

As part of our programme to maintain standards in Dress Code we will send text messages parents/carers informing them that their pupil is not conforming with the School Dress Code.

It is our intention that this should support parents/carers in their discussions with pupils about acceptable dress in school. We hope that parents/carers can give their full support to maintain standards of dress in Preston Lodge.

If you have any comments on Dress Code we would welcome hearing your views.

  1. Okay, i wrote a fairly decent comment to this a while back, but apparently it wasn’t acceptable – fair dues. :)

    Anyway…

    Black Shirts.

I recall wearing a black shirt once in RE class, and i was told:

“You haven’t earned the right to wear a black shirt.”

Well, sorry, i wasn’t aware that this is a privilage…
would someone mind telling me what deed i must do to earn this right?

    wait till 6th year?

but that’s silly, what makes it so wrong for a 5th year to wear a black shirt? it’s school uniform, it’s not trashy – the sixth years get different ties – therefore we won’t be mixed up (maybe the tie can be the privillage? :) )

anyway, get back to me someone.
    :)

  2. I was wondering are we allowed to wear shorts as part of the school uniform?
I mean plain black shorts (no logos)

    Thanks for acknowledging my message

  3. Are the PE t-shirts becoming official school uniform? We all thought they were a while back, but now no-one is really sure.
