Preston Lodge High School is developing it’s own Television Network – dubbed PLtv. We have 3 LCD HD flat screen television placed in the maths social area, foyer, 6th year common room and a projector in the canteen, all of which are connected to our broadcasting system. This setup was invested in to help aid communication around the school: sharing news, victories and showing off students talents – news that might otherwise have gone unheard. On display we currently have artwork, photos from recent events and the school’s daily notices bulletin.
PLtv, like all other TV networks, has a hierarchy of executives:
Euan Doidge: Director General, Chief Executive Officer, Technical Officer – founder of PLtv alongside Mr Iain Stewart (recently retired Head of Science)
Grant Richardson: Committee Chair, Director of Human Resources
