Having a great time here in Paris despite the scorching temperatures of 41 degrees recorded on the coach today! We have been to the artists’ quarter and the Sacré Coeur in Montmartre yesterday. Today we went to the top of the Montparnasse tower – a lightening fast 56 floors in less than a minute! We ventured onto the 12 lane crazy roundabout which encircles the arch de triomphe. The rest of the afternoon was spent lunching and shopping on the champs Élysée stopping off to cool down in fountains. We finished off the afternoon with a trip to the iconic Eiffel Tower and a brief visit to Notre Dame and La Seine.
