During the ‘Using the Web for Learning’ course I feel I have learnt a lot about how I can optimise the capabilities of websites for education purposes rather than just for the intended social purposes.
I am glad I was given this oppurtunity as it has definitely opened my eyes at the use of Twitter to create an active school communtity which I now know can be transffered and applied to different group work situations. Also I am excited about the creation of a website called ‘Named Takes On Science.’ Our team consisting of seven friends who decided to come together and make a website for sharing our knowledge of the Higher courses we have completed. We have already received feedback from some notable people who think we should keep going and that is has potential.
