    P1 homework

    There are many signs of spring at the moment. The many Snowdrops in the woods, birds siging, crocuses coming up and warmer more pleasant weather. Also ive noticed our weeds are begining to grow again !

    I found snowdrops and butterflies on the way to school.
    Trees start growing and animals have babies in spring.
    Its warmer in spring.

    I have seen buds on the trees.
    It is light in the morning when I get up.
    My granny has daffodils growing in her garden.
    Calum says that he can hear birds singing in the morning.

    I like spring.

    Our chickens have started laying more eggs. I played in the garden after school with my brother today because it was warm. My brother saw a bee on one of our flowers. We have helebores snowdrops and crocus in our garden. We also saw some daffodils on our way to school.

  5. Daddy saw a big bumblebee at the golf. The birds are singing. We have flowers in our garden. I can play later in the evening. I like spring. Josie Sellwood.

    We have snowdrops, daffodils, pheasants, a pair of Goldfinches in our garden and Daddy can cycle to and from work in daylight.

    I have snowdrops and crocuses in my garden. I have noticed the evenings are getting lighter and I can play out longer – fab!!

    We have seen aconites, crocuses, daffodils and snowdrops. The irises that I planted are flowering. Also, some of the trees are showing buds. Best of all, some days it is as much as 10 degrees – I may not have to wear my coat!

    The sun is out for longer, there are buds on the trees, there are spring flowers out in the garden and next to the path on the way to school. Crocuses are my favourite.

    I like snowdrops. There are lots in the wood near our house. Mum picked a posy and they are in the kitchen. There are bulbs commimg up through the grass. The birds are singing and might be building nests. Cailean says his favourite flowers are tulips.

    I have seen buds on the trees and snowdrops and other spring bulbs in my garden and on the way to school. Now it is light when I get up in the morning and still light when my Dad gets home from work at night.

    We have seen hundreds of snowdrops in the woods and down by the river.My dog,Tess,likes to jump and play in the river-she likes to catch sticks!!

    My grandma and papa’s garden has lots of new flowers coming through. My garden has got lots of snowdrops, they are my favourite. My daddy’s hedge and grass is needing cut now. I don’t have to wear my big winter coat anymore!!

    I saw little daffodill shoots coming up on the way to school and some baby lambs have been born on the way home from Granny’s. There are buds coming on the trees and bushes and leaves are starting to grow.

    There are buds on the trees, in the woods we found snowdrops and daffidols. The sun comes out early in the morning to help the flowers grow. Lambs are born in the spring on my pa’s farm. Birds are thinking about starting to build their nests.

    Last weekend we saw deer in the woods. We have seen rabbits on the road and Ambers rabbits have gone back out into the garden after a long cold winter in the garage.

    There are new buds growing on our tree in the garden. We have seen lots of snowdrops when we have been out and about and we have daffodils shooting through in our garden. It is also getting a bit warmer. Our stick insect eggs have also hatched just in time for spring.
