Well done to Jay & Ricky that ran round the field 10 times yesterday to get ready for the marathon!

P7 Sports Day is on Tuesday 11th June from 1.30 – 3pm at Lochend Campus.  We hope to see lots of parents and supporters there on the day cheering us on!

We watched a short 3 minute clip today of Chris Hadfield, a Canadian astronaut, showing us ‘how to wring out a wet washcloth in space’.  We all agreed that it’s amazing how such a simple task on Earth can be fascinating in space!

All P7 children in the cluster have now been given information about a swimming afternoon on Friday 31st May as part of the transition programme. All consent forms must be back to class teachers by Friday 17th May.

A huge well done to EVERYONE in Primary 7 today (and the teachers!) for performing the reading dance to the rest of the school.  We only had two sessions in the dance studio this week to learn the routine and it would never have been possible without the enthusiasm and hard work from you all!

A HUGE well done to the girls for taking the time to create the dance.  They will now go on to show the rest of the school for a special project that is coming up…

A reminder that we will be visiting the Risk Factory tomorrow (Monday 22nd April) and ALL P7s need to bring a packed lunch.

P7B (Miss Eeles) and P7C (Miss Veitch) need to arrive at school for 8.30am. We would like to leave as soon as the bus arrives so please come at this time and don’t be late!

P7A (Miss Cooke) and P7D (Mrs Whitehead) should arrive at the normal school start time of 8.45am as they will be going to the Risk Factory in the afternoon. They will arrive back at school at approx 4pm.

We heard lots of stories from the P4s, P5s and P6s earlier in the week about how much fun they had so we were really looking forward to it!

Some of the 7s had tactics and others just went for it! It was such a great morning and all 115 children behaved brilliantly, cheering each other on and enjoying the games.

In the end, P7B (my class!) were victorious! The games were very fast moving but we had a huge TEAM effort to get our prisoners back from the sin bin.

Well done to all classes for giving the games 100% and having fun!  Mrs Whitehead, official photographer for today, will put up photos next week :-)
