Its good to be green…….

This term, P6 are learning all about climate change and why it is important to look after the environment.

Remember, this is your topic! P6B’s homework tonight was to think carefully about what you want to learn about during our Eco topic. I will hear all your ideas tomorrow.

All about France session

Today we had a visitor all the way from Paris.

 

Tanya popped in to tell us all about a living in France. She described yummy frogs legs and told us a story about a British girl who moves to France.

Tanya also brought with her lots of objects, outfits and books for us to look at.

It was a lovely start to our new term.

First day!

P6d had a busy first day back!! Science with Ms. Murray, a visit from Tanya from Paris, an ANGLES quiz, Talk Around and some “Good to be Green” activities too! Hope you still have energy left for your homework  : )

France Topic

This term, we have all been learning about France. We are going to share our learning and show our presentations next week.  P6 have been working very hard in school and our homework has been outstanding!

Don’t forget your french outfits for tomorrow’s assembly!

P6 enjoy rugby lessons.

P6 have been learning how to play tag rugby. We are going to be participating in a rugby festival after the October holiday.

P6 looked great on Dahlicious Dress Up Day

Last Friday, Dunbar pupils looked fantastic as they came in as there favourite Roald Dahl characters.

We had some super Matildas, Twits (the ‘Twitettes’), Georges, Miss Honey, a few Sophies, Mike TV and many more wonderful outfits.

Mrs Melvin gave us all a fright by dressing up as the formidable Miss Trunchbull.
