On the 16TH P4/5 had some visitors. There was 2 people and a dog! They were dog handlers.
The dog handlers came because we are learning about what it is like to live, work and play in East Lothian.
One of the visitors name was Carl the other was Jimmy and the dog’s name was Mac.
Jimmy and Carl told us what it was like to be a dog handler and told us some answers to the questions that we thought of. Jimmy made Mac do a dog agility trick. He took two chairs and a measuring stick, put the two chairs apart and put the measuring stick in the middle! Mac successfully jumped over it beautifully.
When the talk was finished Carl handed out some gifts! He handed out 24 light up keyrings, sticky pompoms and 3 mini ‘bag it and bin it’ bins.
P4/5 really enjoyed the afternoon. THANKYOU JIMMY, CARL AND MAC!!!!
