Ormiston Primary School is the first school in East Lothian and one of only 15 in Scotland to achieve the Outstanding Rights-Respecting School Award. Everyone has worked hard, both in school and out in the local community to help us attain the award.
On Friday 21st January, Bruce Wilkinson from UNICEF presented us with our certificate which, “recognises your commitment and achievement in developing a rights-respecting community promoting active global citizenship.”
This year’s citizenship fortnight runs from 28th March – 8th April. Keep watching the website to find out what each class will be doing, out and about in the village.
