Mrs Stirling’s class used poetry, songs and the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar to tell us what they’ve been learning about Spring.
Take a look at this slideshow to see some of the things they showed us.
Each term, we get together with children from other classes to show them our learning stories and chat to each other about what we’ve been up to in class, at home and some of the things we do outside school.
It’s great to see all of the different things people do and share our achievements with our friends.
A friendly dragon came to Primary 1J and told the class all about the world of fairy tales.
Their assembly had some familiar characters – can you spot Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Red Riding Hood, the wolf and the Seven Dwarfs?
Our two primary 1 classes joined together to celebrate Chinese New Year and we turned Mrs Stirling’s class into a Chinese Restaurant for the morning. We tried noodles, prawn crackers and fortune cookies.
Take a look at the photos to see just how much we enjoyed them!
Last week, we had a visit from Adam Martin, our Active Schools Co-ordinator. He joined us in assembly and told us all about the sports we can do at after school clubs in the area. There’s lots to choose from like mini kickers, rugby, funky fitness, hockey, football, gymnastics, dance and athletics.
