Rugby
North Berwick were the recent winners of Merchison Castle Rugby Sevens on Sunday beating George Watsons, Stewart’s Melville and Merchison. Heriots and Fettes were knocked out in the quarter final. The semi-finals were between Edinburgh Academy and Watsons; North Berwick Vs Merchison Castle. The final score for North Berwick was 17-6 against Merchison. So the under 14 team were victorious.
S2s next game is on Saturday and they will be playing Stewart’s Melville.
Hockey
The S1 hockey team recently won the East Lothian Schools hockey tournament. The competitors were Dunbar Grammar, Ross High and Musselburgh Grammar. North Berwick entered two teams as did Dunbar. North Berwick’s S1s will start playing eleven a side for the first few times on Monday and will play the S2s on the following Saturday.
