Homework: 2008 USA Election Factfile Due: Tuesday, 14th December

Type ” US Elections 2008″ into the Search box on the front page. Use the US Elections 2008 page to complete your election factfile.
- Find out and write down the full USA Presidential election results from 2008.
- Write down the electoral college results for the Democrats and Republicans
- Click on the results map. Write down the number of electoral college votes for 3 different US states.
- Write down the number of seats won by each party in the Senate and House of Representatives in 2008.
- Using the election map, reach two conclusions about the patterns of geographical support for the Democrat and Republican parties. In what areas of the USA was each party strongest?
