North Berwick Nursery School

The morning children in room two went on a trip to gather apples in a local garden.We came back to nursery and tasted them. Next week we are going to use them for baking.

The boys and girls in room 1 pm really enjoyed the story of “The Gingerbread Man” so much that they have chosen to listen/re-tell the story again and again. Sometimes they use the puppets to re-tell the story, sometimes they use the picture sequence or sometimes they enjoy listening to the story on the CD-rom. [...]

Room 1 harvested our potatoes with morning. It was messy work! We found 29 potatoes, some BIG and some very small. As a class we had a think about what we could make with our potatoes. We will make the final decision tomorrow.

We were awarded our 3rd Ecoschools green flag in June. We put it up for the first time today. Mrs Leach had kindly put a number 3 on it for us. Watch out for our photo in the East Lothian Courier soon!!!
