Pupils in S1 are set and taught according to their ability. Pupils will study four main areas of Mathematics, where their prior knowledge is consolidated and extended.These include

Shape, postion and movement
Algebra
Information Handling
During the course of the year pupils are expected to complete a Information Handling project, where they can demonstrate their skills by investigating an area of their own interest.
