The Countdown Is On

It’s that time of year again, with less than 2 months to go, the SQA exams are fast approaching. Despite the common misconception you cannot effectively revise 2 years worth of work in the couple of days before the exam so, all S4/5/6 pupils should now be starting to consider their revision plan or else you could end up looking the student in the cartoon. There will be study support on offer within the department, check with your class teacher to confirm dates and times. There are also some links to revision material in the S3/4 tab above.

Department Website

Welcome to the new Maths Department Website.

The  Maths  department at Musselburgh Grammar consists of  ten staff who all work hard to drive standards up and ensure students can fulfil their potential. Students in the department are encouraged to produce work of a very high standard and are rewarded by their own success.

We are embracing Curriculum for Excellence, through use of the recently installed Interactive White Boards, and using real life situations to support our teaching. Wherever possible we look to show students how Mathematics fits into the real world.
