We were planing our Eco summit.  We have been sending emails, phoning newspapers and creating shopping lists.  We are expecting over 80 people to attend our event!  There is still lots to organise but we are getting there!

P5 learned about germination, photosynthesis and the classification of plants and animals as part of their topic on John Muir.  They have also looked at life cycles and have been responsible for the insect garden and wetlands.

The whole schoool  took part in Walk to School week.  Our JRSOs worked really hard to encourage everybody in the school to walk or park and stride to school.  The JRSos collected information on each class and how many walked.  They then awarded the class that walked the most a prize.

p7   have been doing a leaving performance.  we have all been working very hard on our scripts and  our loud voices. we are collecting  in all our costumes and props .  we have been rehearsing 24/7   at  the  school  and we are all enjoying ourselves.

Because this is our last year in primary school we are doing a primary 7  leavers show. We have been praticing in front of the primary 6s everyone has just about learned all there lines. Every Wednesday for 3 weeks, 2 of our classmates attend surfing lessons. Their names are Aaron Mitchell and Brodie Wood. They say it is very fun and would recommend it to more pupils, boys or girls. On Sunday the 5th of June, Caitlin Golightly from P6/7 wascrowned Tranent Gala Queen 2011 by Isa Thomson from Centre Stage. Micheal Macfarlene from St Martins was  the consort. Today during our buddie time we went outide with our buddies and done some skiping .It was really fun we, played some games like helecoptor,abc,and races.We had a good time teaching our buddies how to skip and they hade fun too!

The drama club show is on the 24th of June we will be doing a performens for the school and some parents.
