School closes at 12.35 on Friday for two weeks, we wil re-open on Monday 8th April at 8.55 am.

Today, Primary 5R visited John Muir Birthplace Museum in Dunbar. They viewed historical artefacts and learned more about how we research events in the past.

Today, our Primary 4’s are taking part in the Athletics Festival at Meadowmill and our P7’s are enjoying either a morning or afternoon session at the Risk Factory in Edinburgh. This evening we are looking forward to a meeting with our Primary 6 parents and children to hear about our planned school camp at Dalguise next year.

There is a School Camp Information evening for all our P6 parents and children tomorrow evening at 7pm here in the school. All P6 parents and children are invited.

On Thursday 7th February four of our Primary 7 pupils took part in the Primary School Quiz organised by the Rotary Club and held at Craigielaw Golf Club. The quiz consisted of 8 rounds linked to the Curriculum for Excellence and the questions set by Rotary District 1020. Three other local primary schools took part. Our children did…[Read more]

We have had a busy week in school this week: P5 held a special assembly to celebrate Robert Burns and a visit from Generation Science who ran a sound workshop. Today, Primary 7 are enjoying a taster morning at Preston Lodge.

On Tuesday 29th January Primary 5 held a special assembly to celebrate Robert Burns. They had a fantastic time reciting poetry, playing instruments and even doing some Highland dancing.
