P1/2 have been finding out about solids that will dissolve in water and those that don’t. We guessed what we thought might happen first. Then we recorded our experiments.

P1/2 have been creating rules for group work. They also decided what should be in a plan.

P1/2 worked really hard yesterday to get our museum ready for visitors. We enjoyed sharing our learning about how museums had changed as well as our curiosity boxes and projects.

Following on from our work on measuring length, area and volume, we are now looking at how to measure a liquid.

P1/2 acted out the story of The Selfish Giant.

P1/2 have been exploring volume today having already investigated area. They worked out the volume of different boxes by filling them with cubes then counting the cubes.

introduced P1/2 to their new project telling us about the people who work in museums.

Our new Primary 1s are quickly settling into the class and are learning new routines.

Nursery pre-schoolers joined P1/2 today to make colourful teddy bears.

P3/4 came to teach the P1/2s how to use a stopwatch. Thanks to their great explanations we can all do it now.

Well done to our first bronze award achievers.

Didn’t we do well. P1/2 were delighted to see that the bulbs they planted last year are now flowering for all walkers to enjoy.
