For homework, P1/2 were working on designing and creating their own mini gardens. Theses included; plants, turf, ponds, washing lines, benches and fences. I was amazed at how individual they all were and how much detail was put into them. They were all excellent. You have worked so hard P1/2 well done. Watch out Groundforce!!

In class we have been learning about plants. We discovered that some plants produce natural dye. We dyed some fabric with beetroot and tea, after we used fabric pens to draw a flower design. The fabric will all be collated to produce a fantastic hanging wall display.

This week nursery, p1 and p1/2 all took part in ‘Veginvation’. They all engaged with the story of ‘Oliver’s Vegetables’ and after they got to sample some weird and wonderful vegetables. Some they had never tasted before. Well done to all the boys and girls for taking part.
