First we inspected what was growing in the garden. We saw pak Choi, Parsley, Spring onions Lettuce and Beetroot.

Today was a big tidy-up day in the garden – lots of leaves went in the compost bin. We also did some pruning.

Next time – lets sow some seeds!

Another freezing day and rock-hard ground outside. We quickly inspected the garden and found winter lettuce still surviving along with Pak Choi, Sprouts and Broccoli – they will get a growth spurt when the weather gets milder. Housebound once again – no gritters on the road and the snow is falling heavily. Never mind – here’s a  picture of my dogs, Davey and Maggie – who love the snow.

This is my garden this morning. I’m stranded at home. All of East Lothian Schools are closed today.

I was supposed to visit Macmerry Nusery today. No gardening in this weather though.
