The Eco Committee has been working very hard this session trawling through a huge Environmental audit! We’ve been looking carefully at the ten key topics – Litter, Waste Minimisation, Energy, Water, Health and Wellbeing, Biodiversity, Transport, School Grounds, Sustaining our World and Food and Environment. Phew! We plan to traffic light our progress in each of these areas and use this information to make an action plan.

This year we are continuing to compost and recycle paper, cardboard and plastic.
Green Day – Litter pick up
Earlier this term, the P1s and their P7 buddies did a litter pick up in the playground. There was a lot of different kinds of litter found in the school grounds. The worst affected areas were the Freedom Garden, the Woods and at the far end of the field.
